
The Connecticut Psychiatric Society mourns the passing of former Executive Director Jacquelyn T. Coleman.
Jacquelyn served as Executive Director of CPS for 40 years, leading the organization with extraordinary dedication, professionalism, and care. She was a consummate professional whose steady leadership and tireless work helped shape and strengthen CPS over four decades of service. Through her outstanding contributions, she received the Medical Executive Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Medical Association, along with several other well-deserved honors.
Her dedication to CPS was evident not only in the excellence she brought to her work, but also in the lasting relationships she built with colleagues, members, and partners throughout the years. She leaves behind a legacy of commitment, integrity, and service that will not be forgotten.
CPS is deeply grateful for her many years of devoted service and the lasting impact she made on the organization. We extend our sincere condolences to her family, loved ones, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working with her.
